Gaya Festival

Not much happens in Gimhae in the Gyeongnam Province of South Korea most of the time. But when something does, it's certainly worth a visit. Such is the Gaya International Festival of Culture held from 22 September to 3 October 2006. Gimhae is, afterall, the old capital of the Gaya dynasty. For more information visit: www.gayafestival.com. The festival features a variety of performances, cultural exhibitions, tradional Korean games and activities and markets.

A pleasure viewing the blog of a swendelaar in the true Afrikaans sense. Keep an eye on stellencult for whenever your path might lead you to the heart of the SA Winelands and the epitome of the Afrikaans culture, Stellenbosch. Interesting to know that an Austrian can see the light of life on his birth date as a boerseun in South Africa! Now I know whom to ask for inside info, should my travels ever take me to the Far East!?
